Q. Can I pay after the event ?
A. Balance of payment must be paid on or before delivery. Kangaroo reserves the right to refuse the booking at the event if payment is not paid - Kangaroo does not offer a credit option
Q. What should I do prior to the inflatable arriving ?
A. Please ensure that the area where you wish to site the inflatable is clear from garden toys, patio furniture etc. Please also ensure the area is clean and free from dog mess and rubbish. Kangaroo reserves the right to refuse to set up if the site is unsuitable.
Q. What will happen on the day of the hire ?
A. We will arrive at your chosen venue at your requested time. We will discuss with you the best position for the inflatable to be set up. The unit will then be set up, safety checked and cleaned. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes, you will be asked to make payment and to sign our terms and conditions if you haven't already done so. We cannot leave the unit without the terms being signed. We will talk you through safety regulations and operating guidelines for the unit. A folder with all relevant information and our contact details will be left with you. We will then return to collect the equipment at you specified time, where we will ensure the unit is free from damage and that your event has been incident free.
Q. What happens if you are late ?
A. We always endeavour to arrive at your chosen time, however, sometimes delays are unavoidable. Please allow 15 minutes for us to arrive before being concerned. If we think we will be later than 15 minutes, we will contact you on your contact details. However - this is extremely rare, so please do not worry.
Q. Does the blower need leaving on all the time and how much does it cost to run?
A: Yes the blower needs to be running all the time the inflatable is in use, however it only costs a few pence per hour
Q: What happens in bad weather?
A: Our inflatables cannot be used in heavy rain or high winds. If the forecast is for showers, winds or gusts, we will speak to you prior to your event to decide best course of action.
Q: What kind of access will you need?
A: All of our equipment fits through a standard sized gate, however if you have a lot of steps or require access through a building please let us know.
Q: Do you have any indoor bouncy castles to hire?
A: All of our castles are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, however you must check the ceiling height of the venue before you book for indoor hires.
Q: Do you have insurance and what happens if there is an injury?
A: Yes we are insured, however our insurance, like any other bouncy castle company, only covers for faulty equipment or set up faults. If an unrelated injury did occur you would be liable as the children are in your care.
Q: How much notice do you need to book?
A: We recommend as much notice as possible to guarantee that the exact inflatable or time slot that you want to book is available.
Q: Can we have just a half day hire?
A: Yes of course we can do that however, the price would not change as the work involved for us delivering and collecting the equipment is the same.
Q: Can a bouncy castle go outside on concrete?
A: Sorry we can't provide any bouncy bed inflatables on concrete.
Q: How many children can use a bouncy castle at once?
A: This is a very broad question as it is really hard to say as it depends on the size of the children and the size of the bouncy castle. Just to give you a rough idea of what the health and safety numbers are, a standard 12 x 12 bouncy castle should have 5/6 children age 6 ish years.
Q: Are your inflatables safe and how do I know what to do to keep the children safe?
A: Yes our inflatables are very safe we have them regularly tested to the highest standard in the industry. This process is called RPII testing, we also provide you with information on your role in supervising the unit.
Q: My garden has a slope is that OK ?
A: Yes a slight slope is ok but if we arrive and the slope is excessive we may not be able to set up as children's safety is the number one priority. We may be able to check your garden prior to booking.
Q: Can we have it cheaper if we collect the bouncy castle?
A: We don't offer that service as our insurance states the bouncy castle has to be set up by one of our staff.
